Practice Schedule
The swim team offers daily practices in the mornings and evenings. Swimmers are encouraged to attend regularly. Most swimmers attend 3-5 per week based on their schedule and other things occurring throughout the summer. Coaches prepare daily dry-land and pool workouts that are tailored to the needs of the age group. Practices grow in intensity and technical aspect as the season progresses. GMST Coaches plan to make every practice varied and fun, keeping swimmers learning and honing skills while shaking up the methodology to keep practice interesting.

Green Meadow Swim Team rents pool space from the Green Meadow Country Club for practice sessions and home swim meets. Recreational use of the pool is open to GMCC Members only. Club Membership hours begin at noon daily. The team’s evening practice is held during club membership pool use hours and space is very limited. We offer this additional practice for swimmers who may be attending camps or summer school, but ask that swimmers attend morning practices whenever possible out of courtesy to GMCC Members.
