Coach Madi served as an assistant coach at GMST in 2025 and we are excited to have her step into the head coach role this year! Madi moved to Knoxville in 2024 and is currently an elementary school teacher at Belle Morris in Knoxville. She also served as the Head Coach for Bearden High School in the 2025-2026 season. Madi has many years under her belt both as a Summer League Head Coach in Athens, GA and USA Swim Coach in Jacksonville, FL where she has trained numerous Florida LSC age group qualifiers.
Our Coaches for the 2026 Season
We are very excited about our coaching staff. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our program. All of our coaches have participated in Summer League and USA programs. Among our staff, we have former GKAISA Champions and record holders, Southeastern Champions, Jr. and Sr. National Qualifiers, Olympic Trial Qualifiers, and National Team Members, as well as All-Americans and Academic All-Americans. They are all excited and looking forward to working with your swimmers!
Assistant Coaches
Sam Tate: Coach Sam swam for Green Meadow from 2010-2021 and has been a coach since 2018. He served as our head coach in 2024 and 2025, and is returning to help with evenings and meets. We are excited to have Sam back to help! Sam also swam for Prime Aquatics for 10 years. In his time at Prime, he was a Southeastern Champion, Junior National Qualifier, and team record holder. At Maryville High School he was a 2x team captain and a NISCA All-American. He graduated in 2025 from Berry College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. While at Berry Sam was a 7x school record holder, 6x conference champion, and served as team captain. Sam also served as Head Coach for Maryville High School for the 2025-2026 season.
Matt Bales: Coach Matt is a former GMST Head Coach who will be stepping in to help when able. You just can't keep Coach Matt away from the Green Wave!
Nathaniel Dutton: Nathaniel has been a swimmer with Green Meadow Swim Team and Alcoa Swim & Dive for over 10 years. He is currently a Freshman pursuing a degree in music at Lee University. He is excited to be back coaching for the Green Wave!
India Bramblett: India has been a part of GMST since 2013. She was a Jr. Coach for 3 years and a high school coach for 3 summers. She is currently an Impact 360 Fellow, doing a nine-month leadership and discipleship training where she's traveling the world. She's looking forward to seeing the growth of swimmers this year!
Madison Addington: Coach Madison began swimming competitively at age 11 with the Great Mills Aquatic Club in Southern Maryland and went on to swim all four years in high school with the Great Mills High School Swim Team and the Chesapeake Bay Aquatic Club, earning her varsity letter each year and serving as girls’ team captain her senior year. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from Temple University in 2023 and now lives and works in Maryville. Over the past two summers, she coached with the Lenoir City Bettas, spent one school season with the LCHS/MS Swim Team, and most recently served as an assistant coach for the Maryville/Blount Co. Middle School Swim Team. This will be her first season with Green Meadow, and she is so excited to join the team!
High School Coaches
Carson Coker: Carson has been swimming for Green Meadow for 11 summers and coaching for the past 3. She also swims with Prime Aquatics, which she has done for 6 years and represents Alcoa High School as a member of Alcoa Swim and Dive. She is excited to be a return to high school coach this summer!
Grace Klepatz: Grace started swimming competitively in 2021 for Green Meadow. She also swims for Prime Aquatics and Maryville High School. Grace is excited to be a new edition to the GMST coaching staff this summer.
Kate Hornback: Kate has been swimming for GMST for 12 years and Prime Aquatics for 11. She also swims for MHS. She is looking forward to coaching again this summer!
Madelyn Carpenter: Madelyn has been swimming on GMST for 7 years. She has been swimming year around for 8 years and swims for MHS and TN Aquatics. She is excited to be coaching this summer!
Miller Rothenberg: This is Miller's 4th season with Green Meadow and her 2nd year coaching. She has been swimming year-round for 8 years, 5 of which have been with Prime Aquatics in Alcoa. She also competes for Alcoa Swim & Dive. She is very excited to see everyone back on deck this summer!
Alice Bramblett: This is Alice's 10th year with Green Meadow and her first summer as a HS coach. She is excited to be working with our swimmers!
Noella LeGault: This will be Noella’s 6th summer swimming for Green Meadow! She fell in love with the sport because of her experience with GMST and now swims year-round with Prime Aquatics and Maryville High School Swim Team. She can't wait for summer to begin because she is so excited to be a part of the coaching staff this year!
Lily Dutton: Lily has been swimming with Green Meadow for nine years and Jr coached in 2023. She is excited to coach this year as a high schooler and is looking forward to this year's season.
Caroline Burroughs: This is Caroline's 10th year swimming with Green Meadow and her first year as a High School coach. She has been swimming year-round for 6 years with Prime Aquatics and also swims for Maryville High School. She is excited to start coaching this summer!
