S&T Certifications will now last for 3 summers and all trainings will be conducted online through www.strokeandturn.com. Please email [email protected] to receive a code to take the certification training and test online. (The process takes approximately one hour to complete.) Each year we are in need of new Stroke & Turn Judges, Starters and Referees. These are all positions that require certification through GKAISA. 

Most people are hesitant to become a certified worker for one of two reasons:

1) They do not think they have enough experience.

2) They think they could never be so mean as to disqualify a child from their race.

It takes zero prior experience to become certified (all training can be done online and the best way to become a great official is by starting and continuing to work and learn.) Stroke & Turn Judges are also vital parts of the coaching process for our kids. Swimmers NEED to be alerted if they are doing something wrong. DQ slips go straight back to our coaching staff so that they can address infractions during practice and help our athletes improve quickly and prevent repeat mistakes.
