City Meet is fast approaching and we want to share some vital information with you and your family.

Parking

Obviously parking at UT has always been a challenge.  This year they are not selling parking passes and will not let anyone park in the parking garage across from the pool.  You will need to park at the UT lot off of Cumberland Avenue, which was formerly the Metron building.  This is the lot between Tyson Park and the railroad tracks on Cumberland.  They will offer a shuttle to shuttle you to the pool and back.  I would suggest dropping off your swimmers and stuff and then having one person ride the bus or walk to the pool.

Heat Sheet Ads

GKAISA is selling heat sheet ads for City Meet, but the ads are due today.  If you or your business wants to advertise it is $250 for a full page ad or $140 for a half sheet.  Send me your information by this afternoon and we will get this sent to the appropriate person. 

City Meet Entries

We have received all of your RSVP's and have a finalized list of those that we will be entering into the City Meet.  Please review the entries on the Board at the pool or the report attached to this email to be sure we enter your swimmer in the meet. Unfortunately, we don't have the ability to change these entries once we send them to GKAISA.  Please let me know by 5:00 pm today if your swimmer is listed incorrectly on any of our reports.

Volunteers

GKAISA will require GMST to provide volunteers in addition to our own team's needs for getting kids to races and other responsibilities.  Please be prepared to volunteer especially if you have been unable to do this in the other meets.  We should learn of our responsibilities at the first part of next week and will coordinate this with Ashley to insure coverage at the meet.
