I hope everyone is gearing up for our last dual meet of the season against Sugarwood tomorrow! We can't wait to see some fast races and good swims from all of our swimmers tomorrow.

A few things regarding the meet:

The meet starts at 5:30. Please have all swimmers at the pool by 4:45 so that they can be checked in, all of your things can be set up, and they are ready to swim in warm ups. Warm-ups will begin at 5:00.

If your child is 6 or under we ask that they do not participate in warmups to ensure that things run smoothly and efficiently. There will not be any coaches in the water to help swimmers in warmups.

The meet theme for tomorrow is HAWAIIAN!!! Dress up and get ready to win some leis for heat winners!

Swimmers may not have the exact events that they registered for online. We do our best to honor requests, but coaches ultimately decide and place swimmers into events that are best for the team as a whole. Thanks for your understanding!

Swimmer Check-in: All swimmers must check in before warmups. There will be a swimmer check-in under some of our swimmer tents at the pool. We ask that all 10 & Under swimmers have their name and their ages written in Sharpie on their backs so it is easier for tent parents to line them up for their races. We will have an area set up for swimmers to look at their events.

Workers/Volunteer Meeting: Volunteers who have signed up to work the meet need to be at the pool at 5:00 for a workers meeting. If you are a second shift volunteer, you still need to be at the meeting at 5:00! Please reach out if you are able to help out in that way, we cannot start the meet without these positions being filled!

PARKING

Parking is NOT allowed on ANY streets within the subdivision. Orange yard signs will be placed on both sides of the street to indicate NO PARKING allowed. Any vehicles parking on the subdivision streets WILL BE TOWED at the owner's expense. There is plenty of parking available in the grassy fields around the pool. Follow the instructions of the Parking Attendants. Please back in your vehicle to the spot identified by the parking attendant. Doing so will help with the safety of children when leaving when it is dark. The paved parking lot next to the pool is reserved for individuals with disabilities and Seniors (65+). 

VISITING TEAM LOCATION

GMST is to utilize the north side of the pool (the side closest to the basketball court) both in and outside of the fence. Outside of the pool fence you can set up between the pool gates and the basketball court. We highly encourage you to bring tents for shade, chairs, and blankets. Inside the pool area you will be allowed a single row of seating along the pool rope and a single row of seating right along the inside of the pool fence. A clear unobstructed path must be maintained around the pool at all times for the swim meet.

Make sure to stay cool and bring lots of water tomorrow night.
