Hello GMST Families!

Hard to believe we only have two weeks left of our summer league season! We have so much ahead of us so PLEASE read the entire email!

GMST @ Sugarwood

Registration Deadline:  Monday, July 13 at 12:00 PM

Let's fill our roster and show Sugarwood what Green Meadow is all about! We can't wait to see everyone racing and cheering on their teammates. Our goal is to have 125 swimmers at Sugarwood so we can have a Board Games Practice!

**Make sure to sign up for any open volunteer positions as well!**

The Sugarwood Pool is located at 12137 Butternut Circle, Knoxville, TN 37934

PARKING

Parking is NOT allowed on ANY streets within the subdivision. Orange yard signs will be placed on both sides of the street to indicate NO PARKING allowed. Any vehicles parking on the subdivision streets WILL BE TOWED at the owner's expense. There is plenty of parking available in the grassy fields around the pool. Follow the instructions of the Parking Attendants. Please back in your vehicle to the spot identified by the parking attendant. Doing so will help with the safety of children when leaving when it is dark. The paved parking lot next to the pool is reserved for individuals with disabilities and Seniors (65+). 

VISITING TEAM LOCATION

GMST is to utilize the north side of the pool (the side closest to the basketball court) both in and outside of the fence. Outside of the pool fence you can set up between the pool gates and the basketball court. We highly encourage you to bring tents for shade, chairs, and blankets. Inside the pool area you will be allowed a single row of seating along the pool rope and a single row of seating right along the inside of the pool fence. A clear unobstructed path must be maintained around the pool at all times for the swim meet.

GKAISA City Meet

Registration Deadline: Wednesday, July 15 at 12:00 PM

City Meet is one of the biggest and most exciting meets of the season! We have had an amazing season so far, and want to finish strong. We hope to have a huge Green Meadow turnout at City Meet. As a reminder this meet takes place July 23-25. 10&Unders pre-lims are Thursday July 23, 11&Ups pre-lims are Friday July 24th, and Finals are Saturday the 25th. Please be sure to declare for the meet in time so we can sign our swimmers up for their events and relays! If you have any questions or concerns about City Meet, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

8 & Under Meet - July 20th

Registration Deadline: Sunday, July 19 at 12:00 PM

We are so excited to watch our youngest GMST swimmers shine at the 8 & Under Meet! They have worked incredibly hard all season—building confidence, learning new skills, and improving with every practice. It's been amazing to see how much each swimmer has grown, and we can't wait to cheer them on as they show off everything they've accomplished.

Practice Schedule for July 20th:

• There will be no Learn to Swim or 8 & Under practice that morning.
• 11 & Up: 8:30–10:00 AM
• 9–12 Year Olds: 10:00–11:00 AM

End-of-Season Banquet

Don't forget to RSVP for our banquet on July 28th! We look forward to celebrating an amazing season with all of our swimmers and families.

Last Day of Practice

Our final day of practice for all swimmers and Learn to Swim participants will be Wednesday, July 22.
