Happy Friday GMST-

Surprise! There is ice cream at practice today for those that are attending since we got over 175 swimmers at the Village Green meet this week! 

We have lots of events upcoming and need everyone to please RSVP and sign up for each. Please see below. 

Sugarwood: Our last dual meet of the season is on Tuesday, July 14th at Sugarwood. It's our only away meet of the season, and we'd love to go out with a big win. Please sign up by Monday at noon for the meet. We need every swimmer there-- and if we can get 150 or more we'll have another prize! 

City Meet: Our Championship meet is coming up and we need ALL swimmers to swim in this meet! If you swam 2 or more dual meets this season, you are eligible to attend. Please sign up by Tuesday evening for City Meet. Entries are due to GKAISA this week, and after this week we cannot add anyone. Please sign up to attend and add any comments related to what your swimmers want to swim. 10 and unders will swim Thursday afternoon and 11 and older swimmers will swim Friday morning. All swimmers who finish in the top 16 swimmers of that event will be invited to return on Saturday to swim again. 

City Meet Parking Passes: Parking will be available in the garage across from Allan Jones at the cost of $15 per day. Limited passes will be available for $25 per pass on the day of the meet.  If you reasonably believe that a swimmer will qualify for Finals, please go ahead and purchase a Saturday pass. 

For parents who do not want to purchase parking, parking will be available at the Metron Center lot off Kingston Pike (approximately 1 mile away). No shuttle service will be provided. There will also be other street parking on campus.

Checks ($15 per pass purchased) must be made to GMST and brought to the pool by Wednesday, July 22nd. GMST must pre-pay for your passes, so please do not sign up if you do not intend to pay GMST back for the pass.

City Meet T-shirts: GKAISA sells a city meet t-shirt. Shirts can be ordered on their portal and picked up at city meet. The online shopping portal is now open and ready to accept orders: CLICK HERE

8 and Under Meet: The 8 and under Meet is on Monday, July 20th. Please declare whether you are attending by Friday, July 17th. This will be a more relaxed meet since it's just for fun for our 8 and unders. Irvey's ice cream will also be on site! 

Banquet: It's hard to believe we are already talking about the end of the season banquet. Banquet is scheduled for Tuesday, July 28th. In order for us to give the caterer a reasonable number in attendance, please RSVP as soon as possible to give us an estimated headcount. We'd love to have the headcount to the caterer by Friday, July 17th.
