We blinked and all of the sudden it's already MAY! We have 24 days to go until our first official day of swim team, where we will be kicking off with our annual pancake breakfast and first day of practice. The emails will start picking up as we start planning and getting closer to the summer. 

Spirit Gear: Our team store with Pokey's is officially open to purchase this summer's t-shirt and other spirit wear. GMST Team Store The store will close on May 10th to ensure we have everyone's orders back at the beginning of the season. 

Registration: If you have not registered yet for this summer, please take a moment to get your registrations completed. We are finalizing our coaching staff and plans for the summer and it helps us to know how many swimmers we have and in what age groups for planning purposes. While we aren't currently planning to cut off registrations, we are monitoring our numbers and may need to put limits on certain age groups, so please register sooner rather than later if you plan on swimming! 

Social Event Assistance:  One area where we'd love to have some assistance this summer is in planning some small social events for each age group. We'd love to get a few parents for each age group willing to organize a session for an age group. Events by age group that have been successful in the past that we are targeting (but are not limited to these): 

• 8 & Under Ice Cream Social
• 9-10 Bowling
• 11-12 Laser Tag or River Rat tubing
• 13-14 River Rat tubing, rafting, hike, or movie night at the pool
