Happy Sunday Green Meadow! And wow, what a weekend! 

First, congratulations to all of the swimmers who competed at City Meet. We had an amazing weekend full of time drops, personal bests, and records being set. We had 4 new team records, 1 new City Meet record, and 32 swimmers who made it onto our top 10 times list! Check out our social media post and make sure to congratulate all of those swimmers, as well as all of our swimmers who competed this weekend. We won 3rd place overall, led by our ladies who dominated and won the women's category! 

Blount County Meet vs. Dolphins- The meet on Tuesday against the Dolphins has been cancelled. Sorry for the last minute change on this one- we just couldn't get it to work! Practice will take place Tuesday evening as usual. 

BIG MEET- MAKEUP MEET VS BEAVERBROOK- The rescheduled Beaver Brook meet on Tuesday, July 22nd is our most important meet of the season as it will determine who stays in League 1 and who moves to League 2. We need everyone who can attend to please come swim on July 22nd. Please sign up for this meet by Sunday, July 20th at Noon. WE NEED YOU THERE! (There will be no IM at this meet- It was already swam previously)

Reminder: The 8 and under meet had to be unfortunately cancelled in order to swim our meet vs. Beaver Brook. We encourage you to sign up for the Beaver Brook meet instead! There will be plenty of coaches on deck ready to help your 8 and under swim in this meet. 

Smoky Mountain Invitational: The Smoky Mountain Invitational meet is July 26th-27th (11 and older swim Saturday, 10 and under swim Sunday). Any swimmer who has not competed in a USA Swimming meet since August 1, 2024 is invited to swim at this meet. Please sign up for this meet and let the coaches know what your swimmer would like to swim no later than Tuesday, July 14th at noon. Once we submit entries, we will not be able to make changes. We will be assigned volunteer positions based on the number of swimmer attending, so please be prepared to sign up to volunteer once we receive those jobs.

Swimmers of the Week: Congratulations to the following swimmers on winning the swimmer of the week for Week 7:

These swimmers have worked hard at practice and had an amazing City Meet weekend. They have listened to coaching and improved so much this season! Shout out to Natalie LeGault for putting in so much effort as a Junior Coach to make sure all of the kids made it from the tent to clerk of course during the younger kids day at City Meet.
