Hi GMST Families! 

We are nearing the start of our season and can't wait to see everyone at the pool! Below are some reminders for next week. 

Registration: All swimmers must be registered online AND have their fees paid prior to participating in any practices. For accurate planning, please make sure if you are planning to participate this summer that you are registered online ASAP.  If you have chosen to pay for the season by check or cash, plan to have that with you on the first day you arrive for practice. If you would like to pay by card, we will have that option available, but we will need to add an additional $6 to cover the credit card fees.

Pancake Breakfast and First Day of Practice: Our first official day is Monday, May 27th and we'll be kicking off with our annual Pancake Breakfast. We'll have pancakes being served starting at 8:30 for our older kids practice. Come around your child's practice time to grab pancakes and hang out. We will be swimming at the normal practice times. For our meal to be amazing, we are asking that parents sign-up to bring something if possible. Visit our website and sign-up for an item for the Pancake Breakfast. Items can be dropped off at the pool over the weekend during pool hours or brought to the breakfast on Monday morning. Watch social media for any changes due to weather (and hope for sunshine!)

Summer Schedule: Take a minute to visit our website and mark your calendar with our meets and fun events for the summer. You can go ahead and declare your planned attendance (whether coming or not coming) for all meets and events. You can also go ahead and sign up to volunteer. We do ask that if your swimmer is swimming at the meet, that you sign up to volunteer at least 1 shift at the meet as it takes over 80 volunteers to run the meet. We will also need volunteers for field day. We will have lots of opportunities upcoming to learn about the volunteer positions and ask any questions. 

Pokey's Gear Orders: If you ordered a shirt in our first round of ordering, that merchandise will be ready for pickup starting at the Pancake breakfast. We will have a table set up to pick up caps and merchandise. If you missed that first window to order your shirts, we have the store open again. The deadline to order is Friday, May 31st. Pokey's Merchandise Store

Practice Times: Quick reminder of our practice times:

Mornings Monday-Friday beginning on Monday, May 27th. Please try to come to morning sessions if possible: 

• 8:45-10:15- 11 and older swimmers
• 10:15-11:15- Swimmers age 9-12
• 11:15-12:00- Swimmers 8 and under

Evenings Monday to Thursday, except for days we have meets. Evenings will begin on Tuesday, May 28th. 

• 5:00-5:45- Swimmers 8 and under
• 5:45-7:00- Swimmers 9-18.
