Happy March GMST Families,

As the calendar turns to March, we are eagerly awaiting the upcoming swim season. I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you as your new head coach, while also providing you with some important information.

New Head Coach: For those of you who may not yet be familiar with me, my name is Sam Tate, and I am honored to be the new head coach for Green Meadow Swim Team. I swam for Green Meadow from 2010-2021 and have been an assistant coach since 2018. I am currently a junior at Berry College in Rome, GA and I am pursuing my B.S. in Business Management with a minor in Economics. I am incredibly excited for the opportunity to be leading Green Meadow and I cannot wait to get this summer started!

Registration: Registration will be live for the 2024 season on March 15^th, two weeks from today.

Coaching Applications: We are currently taking applications for assistant coaches and high school coaches. Coaches must be 15 years old to apply. Please apply by filling out the form provided below on our social media pages. The deadline to fill this form out is April 1st.

Important Dates: As mentioned before SMI and City Meet dates have been changed this year. Make sure to mark the dates down on your calendar.

Smoky Mountain Invitational: June 29-30

City Meet: July 11-13
