Good morning!

Thank you to everyone that came out for our Pool Party this past Sunday. We had a great time eating pizza, dancing with the DJ, and just having fun in the pool. We will definitely try to do that again :)  We are halfway through our season and we still have so many fun things to do. Keep reading for important information for this week.

Village Green vs GMST
Our last home meet is tomorrow night, June 29

• Theme: Red, White, & Blue
• Individual and team pictures will be taken. Package and ordering information is available at the pool. Individual pictures will be available beginning at 2:30pm. The team picture will be taken at 4:15pm. We want everyone in the team picture if possible! Bring your GMST shirt to wear for the picture.
• Arrive by 4:00 / Team picture at 4:15 / Warm-ups at 4:30 / Volunteer Meeting at 5:00 / Meet starts at 5:30
• Food Trucks will be available!
• Volunteers still needed: Announcer (1^st shift) / Vanna (1^st & 2^nd shift) / Computer Entry (2^nd shift) / Ribbons (2^nd shift)

Parents, can you help us out by reminding your swimmer to stay in and around our designated areas during the meet. We just want to be respectful of the other activities that are still going on around us. Swimmers should not be near the tennis courts or on the golf course during the meet. Thank you for your help with this.

Also, the coaching staff has been encouraging our swimmers to have good sportsmanship with each other and with the other team. This will be a great meet for us to put that into practice! Please help us by reminding your swimmer to use positive language and encouragement when cheering on our team and interacting with Village Green swimmers.

Smoky Mountain Invitational
Just a quick reminder that SMI is Saturday, July 8 and Sunday, July 9 at Springbrook Pool in Alcoa. If you are registered to participate in this meet, be looking for a separate email that will include times, volunteer opportunities, tent location, and meet entry information. As soon as we have these details squared away, we will get that out to you.
