GMST Week 3
Good morning, GMST families!
BBBF @ Green Meadow
We are getting geared up for our first dual meet of the season against the Beaver Brook Blue Fins tomorrow. Plan to arrive with your swimmer no later than 4:15 and read the attached Tips and Tricks to help you prepare. Please note that parents are not allowed to sit inside the fence during meets. This allows the pool deck to stay as clear as possible for meet efficiency. There will be designated areas around the pool for parents to watch their swimmers, and then we ask that you clear that area as quickly as possible to allow other parents the same opportunity. If you feel that your swimmer is too young to sit inside the fence without parental supervision, we highly recommend that you allow your swimmer to sit with you outside the fence. We have plenty of protocols in place to communicate with you about when your swimmer should report for their event.
GMST @ Fox Den
We have a quick turn-around for these first two meets and we will be competing at Fox Den on Monday, June 19. The meet start time has changed to 5:00pm so be sure to adjust your calendars. More details for that meet will be sent out on Friday.

GMST Pool Party
Don’t forget to mark your calendar for Sunday, June 25 for our GMST Pool Party. We’ll have pizza, a DJ, and everyone is invited to hang in the pool….parents too. The fun begins at 6:30pm. Go online to register your family so we can be prepared with enough pizza.
Friday Fun Day
Our swimmers and coaches absolutely love Friday Fun Days! We will always have donuts from Richy Kreme available for $1 and we will always plan to have fun in the pool bonding as a team and building on important skills. The coaches are planning a fun event for our swimmers that builds on underwater diving skills, but it requires a little help from you. If you have spare change laying around the house and would like to donate it to the cause, there will be a bucket on the desk for you to dump it in. Any amount and any coin sizes are welcome.
We hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far. Let’s get ready to beat the Blue Fins!!
