We are in the middle of May and getting excited about the 2023 swim season! Check out the newest information below.

Team Tshirts

Don’t forget to order your tshirts!!! The store for this round closes tomorrow. We will get a new link up for the second round of shirts as soon as we have it but go ahead and order now to ensure you receive your shirt at the beginning of the season. Second round shirts will not be available until mid or late June.

Preseason

Preseason is already rolling but you are welcome to jump in the pool with us anytime. The preseason schedule is available on our website. Sign up for any date that works for you. These sessions are a great way to get a jumpstart on the season.

New Swimmer Parent Meeting / Swim & Tri

On Sunday, May 21 at 2pm (during preseason) we will be hosting a New Swimmer Parent Meeting. This is a great time to meet the coach, meet the board, and ask all your questions about the season. We will have Swim & Tri on sight to assist with ordering any equipment you may need for the season, including help with choosing a suit size. Any parent, new or not, is welcome to stop by the pool to take advantage of this opportunity. We will also be able to accept registration payments at this time as well.

Team Suit

Our team suit for the season is called Puzzled (in green) by Arena. You are welcome to purchase this suit online at your favorite swimming retailer or you may purchase it online or in person from Swim & Tri. https://www.swimandtri.com/

Remind App

We use the remind app during the season for quick communication. This has come in handy for weather related delays and cancellations. Join your group to ensure you receive the quickest and most up-to-date information for the season

Upcoming Events

Pancake Breakfast – we will host our annual pancake breakfast during our first practice on Monday, May 29. Please visit our website to sign up for an item to bring. You can find the sign-up page by viewing the Upcoming Events column and clicking “Job Signup”. You are welcome to drop off your non-refrigerated items to the pool at any time.

Officials Clinic – If you would like to join us as a volunteer for Stroke-and-Turn, Starter, or Referee, we invite you to attend the officials clinic scheduled for Thursday, June 1 at 7pm at Grace Community Church Annex, Maryville. There will be several GMST volunteers in attendance and you will learn the ropes from the best of GKAISA’s officials. We would love to as many people there as possible so please plan to join us!

Meets – our regular season meets are scheduled and available for registrations. Go ahead and get your summer calendar in order by visiting our website and declaring your swimmer’s attendance.

Senior Group Lake Day – This year the 15-18 year-old swimmers will be getting together for a lake day! If your swimmer falls into the category, mark your calendar for Friday, June 2 and visit our website to register and learn more information about this event.
