Happy Memorial Day Weekend! We are 4 sleeps away from our first day! 

Swim Practice Sign-Ups:

We are asking that all swimmers sign up for practices again this summer. There should be plenty of spots for swimmers this year and we will evaluate our practice sign-ups throughout the season to make sure they are working efficiently. We are trying a new sign-up sight this summer. This link will be the same all summer and will house each weeks sign-ups when they are activated each week. You are still able to change sign-ups, switch practices, or remove yourself after you sign up. This year, it will also have a waitlist function in case any practice gets full. We will monitor that as well!

One note for this week- night practice for June 3rd will be on a shifted schedule to accommodate a pool party that night that rented the pool. 

First Day of Practice:

Our first day will be Monday, May 31st on Memorial Day. We will not have practice on Monday night for Memorial Day. Evening practices will begin on Tuesday, June 1st.

Password: 247505)- for a brief review of this season’s swim meets and volunteer positions. This season only swimmers, coaches, and volunteers will be allowed on the pool deck. Officials Training – local in-person training Thursday, June 3

Congrats and thank you to our newest certified officials: Sara Coker, Leanne Denny, Tim Hancock, Debbie Goodman. We still need 3-4 new certified stroke and turn officials for this season. Training requires attending a training session and taking an easy multiple-choice test. Trainings are available throughout Knoxville and the local training is Thursday, June 3, 7:00pm at Grace Community Church, corner of E. Harper & N. Meet Sign Ups:

Meet signs ups for all of the meets are open on the website. All meets are voluntary- just sign up for the ones your swimmer will attend. Sign-ups for meets will close the weekend before the meet to allow coaches to plan the meet. It takes coaches many hours to get everything set for the meet, so please respect that process. We understand emergencies happen, but like a puzzle, each change causes downstream changes as well, so we'd like to limit changes! When you sign up your swimmer, we'd love for you to sign up for a volunteer position at the same time as well!
