Hi GMST! Couple items as we head into this week:

Superhero Tuesday: Throughout the summer, GKAISA has been running some social media competitions each week and awarding teams with treats. We haven't won a GKAISA challenge yet so we are challenging ourselves to WIN this week! On Tuesday, please wear your favorite superhero items. We will have everyone show off their gear before practice starts and take some pictures to post online so we can WIN THIS CHALLENGE! 

GMST vs. KRC: Please sign up before Tuesday at 5:00 for the KRC meet on Thursday, July 16th. We will have the age groups split up the same as we had for the VG meet. 

GMST vs. Flying Dolphins: We have added one last meet to our season against our friends across town- the Flying Dolphins. This will be a "Blount County Championship meet" to replace our normal GKAISA City Meet. We are still working through details, but the meet will take place on Tuesday, July 21 at Springbrook Pool. We are planning for the meet to be an in-person meet against the Dolphins and will let everyone know if any plans change as we work through the details with the Dolphins and with Parks & Rec. We are planning to split up the age groups similar to what we have been doing to limit the number of people. We will have designated viewing areas for  parents and designated areas for kids and coaches, and we are working through social distancing procedures with the Dolphins. 

There is a sign-up online for this meet. We have also put a preliminary job sign-up. The job sign-up will be updated as we know more about which age groups will swim together and what jobs we need to make this meet work. Please sign up for this meet by Sunday, July 19th at NOON.
