Hi GMST Families-

We are almost 1 week away from the first Goggled Gobbler 5k benefiting swimming in Blount County! There are already over 220 runners signed up to run in the race, which is more than last years Thanksgiving Day race and more than we expected. This is fantastic news for our swim community!

If running on Thanksgiving morning isn't your thing, we are in need of volunteers to come help us on Race Day. Please consider coming and helping out. The following volunteers are needed:

• Wednesday 11/21 packet pickup 3:30-7:00pm
• Thursday 11/22 Register runners beginning at 6:30 or 7am 
• Thursday 11/22 Direct cars to parking spots (arrive at 6:30am)
• Thursday 11/22 Direct runners along course (arrive at 7:15am)
• Thursday 11/22 Water Station/cleanup, hand out water at mid-way (arrive at 7:30am)
• Thursday 11/22 Snack Table- hand out stacks after race (arrive at 8:00am)

The race begins at Green Meadow at 8:30am, so you will be home in plenty of time to get ready for Thanksgiving day events!
