    Swim Meet Tips

We have so many new families this year and I am sure the chaos of swim team is a bit overwhelming. Here are few tips for swim meet survival.

    1. We like for our team to sit together under the big structure at the pool. We have designated parents who "police" this area and watch our little kids. Parents need to sit elsewhere, there just isn't enough room for kids and parents. We set up some chairs on the bathroom side of the pool, those are first come first serve. There is room for camping chairs along the fence on the other side of the pool. Many parents set up chairs outside of the fence beside the bleachers. Again, I stress kids only under the structure.

    2. Pack snacks and drinks for you and your kids. Hydration is imperative. The club cooks burgers and has pizza, but it is always a good idea to have snacks on hand.

    3. Pack fun activities for your kids that can be contained such as rubiks cubes, cards, quick games etc.

    4. Bring a blanket and at least 2 towels for your child, by the end of the meet they will want a nice dry towel.

    5. Sunscreen

    6. Pack a sharpie to write your child's event numbers on their arms so they know where they are supposed to be.

As always, if you have any other questions please feel free to ask.
